A major setback…a large portion of the production building burns down!

Renovation of the office building.

Market changes lead to a new strategy. The time arrives for the company to bring out its own product line. Independence from large customers becomes the primary target.

REBOTEC GmbH (Reiner Bockstiegel Technik) is founded. Start of walking aids, 1 model available in 10 colours.

Introduction of a new walking stick and other walking aid models expand the product range at the REHA INTERNATIONAL in Düsseldorf.

Care beds, standing up aids and patient lifters become important products of the overall line-up.

Development and start of production of the TRB fully plastic chair line.

Participation at various trade fairs in foreign countries like in Paris, Tokyo and Dubai pays off. REBOTEC exports various product lines to 40 countries worldwide.

The Rollator production in Plant 2 begins. Other parts of production are also moved to this location.

Production facilities are brought to one single location at the Artlandstrasse production and warehousing area, approx. 9000 m², (100,000 sq. ft.).
